When it comes to depression, you need someone to support and love you, in order to love yourself and life again. Depression is one of those disorders that, like many, are completely misunderstood. Depression can hide behind bright smiles and good grades. It can live within social butterflies and athletic success stories. High functioning allows you to put on a happy face and hide your depression from the world. High Functioning is not better though. High functioning people tend to avoid getting help because they can live and function with their depression.

- There may not be any specific root cause upon which to blame a case of depression.
- Sometimes distraction feels necessary to a depressed person, other times the thought of socializing feels exhausting.
