If you are a child of divorced parents, it can be hard but there are things you need to know. You need to find someone to talk to, share your feelings. You need to try not to take sides, become a collaborator or attempt to protect one parent from the other. You can grieve the loss of your family but try not to force your parents back together. Spend some alone time with each parent and try to have empathy for both if them. Don’t alter your routine or try to become head of household, enjoy being a kid.
