A new ad from Dove shows women that there no right way to be a good mom. The ad showcases many different mothers all with their own unique styles of parenting. This is in contrast to a similar ad run by Baby Dove in the U.K. which used an artificial intelligence to create a “perfect mom”. The ad received criticism for perpetuating the idea that a “perfect mom” exists, though the ad itself was designed to promote discussion about that very topic, with Baby Dove brand manager Marcus Buck saying “There’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to be a parent, just your way.”
