Today is still a world in which we are separated by class, gender and race. The path to overcoming these conflicts is through love. It is necessary for humanity to develop compassion for one another, though one must first learn to be understanding of their own suffering. There are many sources of our suffering, including childhood traumas and narrative thinking. Our brains and emotions are organized to protect us from stress and attempt to understand our emotions. However, through practicing mindfulness, compassion, and lovingkindness, we may overcome our emotions which weigh us down, and begin sharing love between humanity.
