Many female lawyers have experienced misogyny in the workplace, whether sexist comments, or being treated as inferior because of their gender. However, now the American Bar Association has adopted a new ethics rule that amends rule 8.4 of Modus Rules by adding an anti-discrimination and anti-harassment provision. The new rule has seen some criticism, but most are pleased with the change.
