Grieving is not just for the loss of a loved one in death. Grief also happens when couples divorce. Though there is no time limit or set way for an individual to grieve there are 5 major things you will go through before you finally feel better, so give yourself a break if you are feeling these things. The shoulda, coulda, wouldas – we all do this; however no one can change the past. Anger – everything at some point is going to upset you. Depression and unacceptance are often hurtful just by themselves, but fear not because the last stage is moving on. In moving on you will rebuild yourself and your life! Don’t be to tough on yourself, this is a major life altering event and you deserve time to rebuild.
