Marriage is an important event in one’s life that is supposed to make one happier and healthier. But is this really the case? Research is showing that this is not always the case because married people are overall less healthy than single people even when married people often have better health care options and more support. Married people are also not happier. The level of happiness rises at the beginning of marriage and then decreases. Overall, getting married does not really have that much affect on the happiness or health of a person.
